Shortcuts in Aegisub for macOS users

Today I want to share some of my favourite AegiSub shortcuts for macOS users that are very useful to improve your productivity in your subtitling projects.

 

List of AegiSub shortcuts

 

 

⌘+ P Play/Pause the video.
Ctrl + R Play the selected subtitle.
⌘J Go to time/frame.
⌘1 Go to the beginning of the selected subtitle.
⌘2 Go to the end of the selected subtitle.
⌘3 Set the subtitle in-time to the time shown by the video player.
⌘4 Set the subtitle out-time to the time shown by the video player.
E Play the first 500 ms (video) of the selected subtitle.
D Play the last 500 ms (video) of the selected subtitle.
⌘5 Set the in-time and out-time of the subtitle according to the times of the current scene (between two purple lines).
