Today I want to share some of my favourite AegiSub shortcuts for macOS users that are very useful to improve your productivity in your subtitling projects.
⌘+ P | Play/Pause the video. |
Ctrl + R | Play the selected subtitle. |
⌘J | Go to time/frame. |
⌘1 | Go to the beginning of the selected subtitle. |
⌘2 | Go to the end of the selected subtitle. |
⌘3 | Set the subtitle in-time to the time shown by the video player. |
⌘4 | Set the subtitle out-time to the time shown by the video player. |
E | Play the first 500 ms (video) of the selected subtitle. |
D | Play the last 500 ms (video) of the selected subtitle. |
⌘5 | Set the in-time and out-time of the subtitle according to the times of the current scene (between two purple lines). |
You can also download a PDF document with this list of shortcuts here.
Feel free to contact me if you have any potential project you’d like to discuss.
I'll be glad to help.
